Indian Women won the first ODI match against England Women by 4 wickets.
For India, Deepti Sharma was the star of the match. She scored an unbeaten 62 runs and was awarded the Player of the Match.

In the first inning, England Women were looking strong. They scored 258 runs by losing 6 wickets.
Sophia Dunkley played a brilliant knock of 83 runs, and Davidson-Richards supported well with 53 runs.
For India, Sneh Rana took 2 wickets and bowled very economically.
India needed 259 runs to win the match. It was looking like a tough chase.
But Indian Women showed their class and confidence.

India started slowly, and a few quick wickets made it a little difficult.
