India women beat Australia women by 102 runs series level 1-1

In New Chandigarh India women’s team registered a strong comeback in the 2nd ODI match and defeated Australia women by 102 runs to level the three-match series 1-1
Batting first India scored 292 runs. Opener Smriti Mandhana played a superb innings and completed her century She was the backbone of India’s batting and got good support from middle order to take the team to a fighting total against Australian bowling.
Chasing the target Australia never looked settled. Indian bowlers kept the pressure from the beginning and took wickets at regular intervals. The visitors got all out on 190 runs. None of the Australian batters could build a big partnership as Indian bowlers dominated throughout the innings.
In the 1st ODI Australia won the match by 8 wickets while chasing 281 runs. Now with this victory India women levelled the series 1-1. The final ODI will be the decider and both teams will fight hard to win the series.
