England dominates day 2

England batsmen took control on Day 2 with a strong opening partnership. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett added 166 runs together, putting pressure on the Indian bowlers.

Zak Crawley scored 84 runs in 133 balls, hitting 13 fours and 1 six.

Ben Duckett played an attacking knock of 94 runs in just 100 balls, smashing 13 boundaries.

Both played crucial innings and gave England a solid start. As the ball got older, it offered less help to the Indian bowlers.

For India, Ravindra Jadeja broke the fearless partnership by taking the first wicket.
The debutant Anshul Kamboj also impressed by picking up a wicket.

England looked comfortable and were trailing by only 133 runs by the end of the day. If they continue like this, they could take a 100+ run lead and possibly win the match by a big margin.

Ollie Pope and Joe Root are currently at the crease and look set for a long innings.

India needs quick wickets in the first session of Day 3 to come back in the match. They must take at least 3 wickets early — otherwise England will take a strong lead, and the match could slip away from Team India.

End of Day 2:
England – 225/2 in 45 overs
Batting: Ollie Pope (batting), Joe Root (batting)
England trail by 133 runs
