By Abhishek Kumar

Asia Cup 2025 witnessed the biggest clash when India faced Pakistan at Dubai International Stadium on September 14. The hype was massive but on the ground India looked in total control from the beginning till the end.

Pakistan won the toss and came to bat first. Their top order never settled against Indian bowling. Sahibzada Farhan was the only one who tried to fight with 40 runs but no other batsman looked comfortable. Shaheen Afridi gave some late fireworks with 33 not out from 16 balls which helped Pakistan to reach 127 for 9 in 20 overs. Kuldeep Yadav was the main star with the ball while Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya also kept pressure.

Chasing was never difficult for India. Abhishek Sharma came with fire smashing 31 from just 13 balls. Tilak Varma also played a handy knock of 31. Captain Suryakumar Yadav stayed till the end and finished unbeaten on 47 from 37 balls. India chased down the target in 15.5 overs with seven wickets left.

The match also made headlines as India skipped the handshake with Pakistan showing solidarity after recent terror attacks. But on the field India showed pure dominance and booked their place in Super Fours.
