India beat Oma by 21 runs in Asia Cup

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bat first in Sheikh Zayed Stadium. India scored 188 runs in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Sanju Samson smashed a half-century for India. In the answer of 188 runs OMA scored 167 runs in 20 overs by losing 4 wickets. They gave tough fight to India but they lost by 21 runs.

Indian team started batting with some difficulties. They lost the 1st wicket in the 2nd over at the score of 6 After that Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson helped India they built 66 runs strong partnership. Abhishek Sharma was looking good he scored 38 runs in just 15 balls. On the other side Sanju Samson struggled in his batting he was not in flow but he scored helpful 56 runs. After them Axar Patel scored 26 runs and Tilak Varma scored 29 runs. At the end of 20 overs India scored 188 runs. For OMA Faisal Shah, Jitenkumar Ramanandi and Aamir Kaleem took 2–2 wickets.

OMA batting looked good their openers built 56 runs partnership between captain Jatinder Singh and Aamir Kaleem. Aamir Kaleem smashed half-century he scored 64 runs. After him Hammad Mirza also scored 51 runs. OMA really gave tough competition to India but they lost by 21 runs. For India Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav took 1–1 wicket.

Now Indian team focus on Super 4 matches. They will play big match on 21st September against Pakistan.
