Huge Explosion in Beirut rocks entire city, at least 78 killed.

A huge explosion caused widespread damage in Lebanon’s capital city Beirut on Tuesday about 6 p. m.local time with over 78 people was killed and nearly get4000 wounded.
Social media videos of the explosive blast showed smoke flowing outwards from the warehouse on the waterfront before a massive explosion produced a dome-shaped cloud that surrounded that section of the city center. The video circulating on social media shows a huge explosion rocking the central capital of Lebanon – shattering windows, demolition doors, and shaking buildings many hundred feet away. .The explanation for the explosion wasn’t cleared in real time as officers coupled the explosion to some 2700 tones of nitrate that has been hold on in a very warehouse at the port for 6 years.Responding to the incident President Michel Aoun called for an emergency cabinet meeting today and said a two-week state emergency should be declared
Prime Minister Hassan Diab said”It is unacceptable that a shipment of 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate has been present for six years in a warehouse, without taking preventive measures,” at a defense council meeting.
The blasts have also affected the health care system because of the hospital bed crisis for the injured people as Lebanon is already coping with the novel coronavirus pandemic. Indian envoy in Lebanon Suhel Ajaz Khan has said that all Indian embassy staffers are fine and they are in touch with Indian community who are living in Beirut
