Historic Scene in Dhaka West Indies Shock Bangladesh with All-Spin Attack and Win in Super Over

By Abhishek Kumar

Unbelievable drama unfolded in Dhaka as the West Indies created history in One Day cricket! In the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh the Caribbean side bowled all 50 overs using only spin bowlers the first time ever in ODI history. And the magic of spin worked perfectly as West Indies won the match in a thrilling Super Over to level the series 1-1.

From the very first ball it was clear that captain Shai Hope had something different in mind. Instead of using pace, he trusted his spinners completely The trio of Akeal Hosein, Gudakesh Motie, and Roston Chase spun a web around Bangladesh’s batting The hosts struggled badly collapsing to 213 all out unable to read the variation and discipline of the Caribbean spinners.
When West Indies came out to chase they too faced tough resistance from Bangladesh’s bowlers. Hope tried to anchor the innings but wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Despite the effort the Windies were bowled out for 213 and the match went into a Super Over setting up a heart-stopping finish!

In the Super Over Hope and Chase smashed 15 runs off Mustafizur Rahman’s over. Then Akeal Hosein the hero of the day kept his calm with the ball and restricted Bangladesh to just 11 runs. The West Indies players celebrated wildly not just for the win but for rewriting cricketing history Cricket fans and experts around the world are calling it a tactical revolution. West Indies proved that spin isn’t just for Asian teams it can win matches anywhere The Caribbean side didn’t just win a game they changed the way the world looks at ODI cricket forever!
