The couple fainted after drinking the pesticide. After that, the police took them to the hospital as soon as possible.

After the incident, Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia also came into action. He said that the Guna incident is very unfortunate. In this regard, I have discussed with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and requested for strict action against such insensitive and guilty officers. An hour later, Scindia said that the incident of Guna CM has taken action. Instructions have been given to remove Guna’s Collector and SP with immediate effect.
