“It’s a Match!!” Facebook announced on Wednesday that they are going to launch its dating service in 32 European countries after its early delay due to regulatory concerns. It is going to rival the leading dating apps like Tinder, Hinge and Bumble.

It will allow the users to find their potential matches for the relationships who share the same kind of interests and events with them.

Users can link their Facebook and Instagram stories and posts with the dating app service provided by the social media giant so that they could get the possible matches a better idea about who they are, what are their interests and how they live their life, a company spokesperson said.

Unlike other dating apps, there is a “secret crush” feature which allow users to select their existing Facebook and Instagram friends and followers they may want to date but it will only work if both the parties match otherwise the section will remain anonymous.

Once it’s a match, the couple can start conversation via instant messaging feature.

Due to coronavirus pandemic, Facebook has also launched the video calling feature so that daters could communicate face to face with each other while staying safe at home.
