By Abhishek Kumar

England showed no mercy and completely destroyed New Zealand in the 2nd T20 International winning by a massive 65 runs and proving once again why they are the kings of modern-day T20 cricket!

From the very first ball England came out with fire in their eyes. Captain Jos Buttler led from the front with a classy 46-run knock setting the perfect tone. But the real show started when Phil Salt went into beast mode! Salt smashed the Kiwi bowlers to every corner of the ground scoring a brutal 85 off just 41 balls with 8 fours and 5 gigantic sixes pure carnage in the middle Then came the unstoppable Harry Brook who turned the game into a nightmare for New Zealand. Brook played an unbelievable innings of 78 runs from only 35 balls hitting 7 sixes and 4 fours like a monster on fire! His power hitting sent shockwaves across the stadium and helped England post a mammoth 236/4 one of the highest T20 totals ever on New Zealand soil

In reply New Zealand looked completely lost. Their top order collapsed like a house of cards unable to handle England’s bowling attack. Tim Seifert tried hard with 43 runs but it was never enough. England’s spin magician Adil Rashid spun his web perfectly taking 4 wickets for 32 runs while Sam Curran and Reece Topley added the finishing touches.

The Kiwis were bowled out for 171 falling short by 65 runs a crushing defeat
England’s message to the world is loud and clear when their batters fire no team can stop them
