#Metro Blunder: Driver-less Delhi Metro train rams into wall during trial run
Bullet Trains! A name which still is a ‘dream’ project for the whole country. While there are still ‘assumptions’ and ‘promises’ about the much-awaited project of Indian Railways, a big blunder happened with Delhi Metro today.
A driverless rammed into a wall during its trial run, after the brakes were not applied in time.
The train running on the Magenta line, expected to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 25, broke through the boundary at Kalindi Kunj depot, reported news agency ANI.
There were no passengers on board when the accident occurred. The matter is under investigation.
The 12.64 kilometer-long route runs from Delhi’s Kalkaji Mandir station to Noida’s Botanical Garden.
