The coolest fest of the year is back with a variety of things in its backpack and you better not miss out on this. North East Festival is celebrated every year with the motto of connecting people and spreading awareness about northeast culture across the country.
The 3 days spectacular North East Festival that is going to be held at IGNCA, Janpath, New Delhi will be witnessing a carnival of North East folk music, folk dance and much more. Famous musicians and bands like Papon, Zubeen Garg, Trance Effect, Empirical Tribe and Void are coming to perform there and you will find yourself grooving on their beats. There will be many stage performances, ethnic fashion show and a showcase of exclusively designed attire by the designers.
Around 100 stalls would display varieties of products, each having a taste of all the 8 states. There will be authentic food from each state including a wide variety of dishes like- Fried Pork, Mithun, Giant Crabs, Dry Fry Duck and Boiled Veggies (like green mustard). They also sell their local wine or Apong in the festival, which is made from fermented rice and yeast. (You better not miss out on this).
Apart from this, there will be a photography exhibition where you can witnesses exotic handloom and handicraft products from NE entrepreneurs. This festival is going to be exotic and will make you feel like you’re in the east region of the country. The Vibe will be vibrant and there will be so much new to try and explore.
