Dhurandhar Collection Day 1: Ranveer Singh’s movie makes a massive impact at the box office, defying all predictions.

Dhurandhar, a surprise hit, defied industry predictions and achieved a remarkable Day 1 box office collection. This marks a triumphant comeback for Ranveer Singh after the pandemic-induced lull.

Dhurandhar has taken the industry by storm, surpassing expectations with its impressive Day 1 box office collection of over ₹27 crore. This remarkable achievement far exceeded almost every advance estimate. Prior to its release, numerous trade experts had expressed concerns about the film’s momentum and predicted a challenging opening.

Predictions for the film’s box office earnings remained in the ₹15-18 crore range. Some analysts even cautioned that it might not even surpass ₹15 crore. They attributed this to weak pre-sales and a noticeable decline in the hype surrounding the film.

Many believed Saiyaara, priced at ₹21.50 crore, and Chhaava, priced at ₹31 crore, would remain unchallenged. However, Dhurandhar has defied those expectations with a strong opening, indicating that audience interest was underestimated.

The film has not achieved the massive success of Animal, which grossed ₹64 crore in 2023. However, it has still defied early predictions and marked a strong comeback for Ranveer Singh after the post-COVID lull.
