The second wave of Corona in India has troubled everyone from the government to the common man. Cases are increasing at double the speed up to Delhi, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday, 2,790 new cases of the corona were reported in Delhi, which is the highest number of cases reported in a single day this year. The Health Department said that 9 more patients have died due to infection during this period. On Thursday, 43,183 new cases of Kovid-19 in Maharashtra increased the number of infected to 28,56,163.

Dr. Rajesh Pareek of Jaslok Hospital says that first of all, it is the fault of the people that they are not following the guidelines of Corona. People are not wearing masks in crowded markets. Apart from this, there is another big reason that this virus is mutating. The virus is mutated in two or three variants, due to which cases are increasing rapidly. He said that one or two of these are the incarnations of the corona which can infect you despite having antibodies in the body.
Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha, dean of Brown University School of Public Health, said that the biggest reason for the Corona record case in India is that new variants of the corona have reached here. Which are becoming increasingly effective. He said that there is no way to impose lockdown. This has a bad effect on the economy of the country. Apart from this, he said that the vaccine is also not effective in some variants. Like, there is no Covishield on the variant that came from South Africa.
AIIMS Covid Center head Rajesh Malhotra says that more than double cases have increased in the last two weeks. This is a matter of great concern. He said that 60 to 70 percent of the cases are increasing every day as compared to other days. He said that the reason for these cases rising is both the negligence of the people and the new variant of Corona.
Maharashtra is the worst-hit Covid-19 state, the prospects of a statewide lockdown are becoming stronger. In this regard, CM Uddhav Thackeray will have an important meeting with health department officials on Friday. Thackeray had earlier warned of a lockdown again. Since this Sunday, night curfew has been started in the state. According to officials, even though there is not a complete lockdown but restaurants, hotels, theaters can be ordered closed soon.
