CBSE intermediate results declared, 87.33 percent of appearing students are pass

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday, May 12, declared the class 12 board exam results on its official website cbse.nic.in. CBSE Class 12th exams were conducted from February 15 to April 5. Around 6,96,770 students appeared in the 12th board exams this year. The overall pass percentage for the exam this year stood at 87.33 percent.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the class 12 results on Friday. A total of 87.33% of students have passed this year. Of these, 90.68% are girls and 84.67% are boys. Girls were 6.01% ahead of boys this time.

The list of toppers is not released officially by CBSE, nor is any merit list released. Giving reasons in this regard, CBSE said in its result notification that as per the earlier decision of the board to avoid unhealthy competition among students, no merit list will be declared. The Central Board of Secondary Education further said that in this regard it is also informed that the board does not award first, second, or third class to its students.
