BJP’s ‘Beef Biryani’ to Congress’ ‘Beef Janata Party’: Online video wars in Karnataka
Locking its horn straight to the ruling party at the centre BJP, the Karnataka Congress, yet again, take on the Bhartiya Janata Party in their latest video titled “Beef Janata Party”. The timing of the video is also being questioned as the Karnataka is set for Assembly Elections in 2018.
On Sunday, the Congress posted a video the BJP – “Beef Janata Party”. The one-minute long video called out the BJP’s hypocrisy around beef as business and in politics. “Parrikar wants to import it, Yogi wants to export it, Rijiju wants to eat it, Som wants to sell it. Do not mix Beef and Business. Mixing Beef and Politics, a definite YES! Enough of your hypocrisy @BJP4India,” said a tweet accompanied by a video. Witty lines, photos and quotes of BJP leaders on beef was the highlight of Congress’ video aimed at mocking the BJP

The video was the response to the Karnataka BJP who accused Siddaramaiah government of not keeping a blind eye towards the death of thousands of farmers in the state. The video began with the Prime Minister speech on talking of farmer suicides.
