Big Surprise! Actress Evelyn Sharma ties the knot with fiancé Dr. Tushaan Bhindi in a gorgeous country-style wedding in Brisbane!

Actress Evelyn Sharma, known for her roles in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Yaariyan, tied the knot with fiancé Dr. Tushaan Bhindi on May 15 in Brisbane, Australia.

In a dreamy, gorgeous country-style wedding, the two made vows to stick together with each other amid both good and bad times.

The two got married on May 15 but announced it to the world today when she took to her social media and shared the first picture of themselves as bride and groom.

The couple looked stunning as they dressed following the Christian traditions. Evelyn on one hand, opted for a white gown, while Tushaan looked dapper in his tuxedo suit.

Speaking to a leading daily, Evelyn said that she was overjoyed. “There’s no better feeling than being married to your best friend. We’re so excited about spending our life together,” she said, adding, “We started our wedding celebrations with a legal ceremony. Of course, we would have loved for our family and friends from around the world to be present, but we know their blessings are always with us.”

The couple plans to follow up their intimate wedding with a grand reception later. Tushaan said that they were planning to get married ever since their engagement but the Covid-19 pandemic slowed down their plans.

“In times like this, we did not want to draw a lot of attention to ourselves; we wanted to keep things simple and straightforward. It was time to make our love and commitment official to the world.”

For the unversed Evelyn and Tushaan met in 2018 on a blind set up by one of their friends.Evelyn got engaged in 2019 to Tushaan after he had asked her out about the same against a romantic backdrop, The Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Tushaan asked her to marry him with a guitarist playing their favourite songs and he went down on one knee to propose to her.

Unfortunately, Evelyn could not enjoy her mother’s presence in the ceremony. However, the couple plans to have a grand wedding reception so that their family and friend could celebrate their love.

In the work front Evelyn Sharma had recently played the role of ‘Jennifer’ in Saaho whereas Tushaan Bhindi is an Australian-based Dental Surgeon.
