Big News! Pop Star Britney Spears Says ‘I Quit’ as she vows not to perform again on stage under her father as conservator

Pop star Britney Spears, in a furious Instagram post had announced that she has ‘quit’ doing live performances and slammed her father on controlling over her affairs.

The Grammy Winner shared a post on Instagram announcing the same and added that she will rather do a live social media session from her living room than performing onstage. The pop icon took to Instagram to share a post where she heavily criticized her father James Spears for controlling her career and wrote “For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos … look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think !!!! I’ve done that for the past 13 years.”

As she continued, Spears noted that performing in Las Vegas hasn’t been easy and it has had seemingly uncomfortable moments as she referenced wasted patrons in concert crowds. “I’d much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas where some people were so far gone they couldn’t even shake my hand and I ended up getting a contact high from weed all the time,” she said.

Adding further about not performing onstage anymore, Spears said, “And no I’m not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans … so I quit !!!!”

Britney also blasted her 30- year old little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. “I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!!” she wrote. For the unversed Spears was apparently referring to her sister’s appearance at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Britney spears concluded by saying that conservatorship has ‘killed her dreams ‘ and that she is hopeful for a bright future. The pop star Britney Spears has been under the conservatorship of her father James Spears since 2008. Since 2008, Britney’s father is controlling her life choices and Money – related affairs. James Spears by the rule of conservatorship law has the right to make her medical decisions and business deals.

Spears was placed under a conservatorship following a series of public incidents and hospitalizations. Meanwhile, Britney Spears gained her first victory in the conservatorship battle recently when she won the right to hire her own lawyer last week. She has also garnered lots of public support from fans and her musical peers Christina Aguilera and Madonna in the Massive #FreeBritney movement on social media.
