Bareilly women sold her bangles and donated 1.5 lakh to martyrs family in Pulwama Attack

In a kind and heart-warming gesture, a woman sold her jewellery and donated the fund collected to the families of brave soldiers who were killed in Pulwama terror attack. The woman is a school principal from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly region.

The woman is identified as Kiran Jhagwal who is a principal of a private school. She sold her bangles from which she got nearly 1.5 lakh which she donated it to the soldiers through Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

“When I saw the wife of soldier crying, I thought what can I do for them? That’s when I thought of selling off my bangles which was actually gifted by my father. I donated the fund collected through Prime Minister’s Relief Fund”, she said.

She further urged people, “We are in crores, even if a person gives one rupee, we can make a lot many collection and can give it to the family of our brave soldiers”.

Not only Kiran but people across the country has stood up against terrorism. Protests and marches are taking place everywhere. A lot many people have also contributed their bit towards the relief funds.
