Apollo Tyres becomes new lead sponsor of Team India replaces Dream11

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed Apollo Tyres as the new lead sponsor of the Indian national cricket team. The tyre manufacturing giant replaces Dream11 whose deal ended following the government’s new restrictions on online gaming promotions The fresh agreement will run until March 2028.
According to reports the sponsorship deal is valued at nearly ₹579 crore a significant jump from Dream11’s earlier contract of around ₹358 crore. The Apollo Tyres logo will feature on the jerseys of both men’s and women’s teams across all formats of the game. BCCI officials expressed confidence that the partnership will strengthen the team’s global image while Apollo Tyres called it a proud moment to be associated with Indian cricket. This marks the company’s first major cricket sponsorship though it has been active in other sports.
With this development Apollo Tyres steps into the spotlight as India’s cricket sponsor at a time when the team enjoys massive popularity both at home and worldwide.
