Airtel to offer ‘Unlimited Data on all the Broadband Plans

India’s second largest wireless telecom company Airtel is reportedly going to provide more data benefits for its new existing broadband subscribers. Usually, Airtel have fixed data categories- Basic, Gold and Premium.
However, according to new reports, that the telecom operator is going to provide unlimited data benefits to its subscibers after Jio Fiber updated its portfolio to start offering ‘unlimited data’ to its subscribers at Rs 399.
Jio claims that the company have 3300 GB cap for its “truly unlimited” plans while Airtel broadband users are likely to get the similiar range of plans.
As per the reports by OnlyTech, Airtel has started the conversion process for all existing broadband plan subscribers. This includes Basic, Entertainment and fixed data caps. Airtel is going to update this new cap in its official website and Airtel Thanks App for all the users.
Reportedly , the unlimited data of broadband services will be available only for existing. subscribers. This might have been done for preventing people to switch their services to Jio Fiber after the portfolio revamp earlier this week.
Apart from that, Airtel has also removed its Rs 299 unlimited add-on pack from its website, indicating that the telecom company is working on the Jio Fiber’s portfolio revamp follow-up.
