Actor Kartik Aaryan’s professional commitments have hit the headlines over the past few weeks. After being ousted from Karan Johar’s Dostana and subsequently from Shah Rukh Khan’s production, GoodBye Freddie, there has been abuzz that actor Kartik Aaryan may have lost out on yet another potential project.

A report has gone onto claim that things may have fallen through for the Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 actor in another project by Filmmaker Aanand L Rai.

Kartik was in advanced-level talks with the Filmmaker and heard the script narration as well. However, the report said that before Kartik could sign on the project, things apparently fell apart.

The report further claimed that the real reasons why things fell through with Aanand L Rai are yet not confirmed.

Earlier reports of Kartik and Anand L Rai teaming up for a film surfaced in February this year when the actor was snapped outside the filmmaker’s Mumbai office.

However, Filmmaker Anand L Rai denied the rumors of teaming up with Kartik Aaryan and then ousting him. He told that nothing was formalised with Kartik and did not get into details.

He said that ‘ As a production house, we work on several scripts and pitch it to actors -that’s the process. Actors keep meeting you, you keep telling them what you are working on, they express their desire to collaborate. And then, depending upon the subject, you decide if you should approach them. But that doesn’t mean you have signed them.”

Moreover, amid all the buzz, Kartik Aaryan has restored to keep mum and has not spoken about any of the reports. The actor has been spending his time with family post his Covid Recovery. He has also kept himself active on social media by sharing posts to engage with his fans.
