AFC Fines FC Goa for Fan Misconduct

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has fined FC Goa about 10,000 US dollars (around ₹8.8 lakh) because of the wrong behaviour of some fans during an AFC Champions League qualifier match.
In the match of Goa vs Al Seeb some fans used a smoke gun in the stadium. AFC considered it improper conduct and said the club should pay the fine soon.
According to AFC it’s a must to follow safety rules in international matches. Such things like smoke guns are not allowed as they are dangerous for both players and fans. Because of this fine the image of FC Goa is a little hurt.
The club said they will make sure this type of incident never happens again and they requested fans to follow the rules and support peacefully. Now see how FC Goa maintains discipline and security so the stadium is safe and fun for everyone.
