India will control this island. The activities of enemies will be monitored.

The security of India, be it from sky, land or water, is very strong and to make it even stronger the government is going to take a big decision due to which those who look at India with wrong intentions will face bad consequences.
Actually the Indian government is going to take the island under its control for security reasons, this island is currently a part of the 10 islands located in Lakshadweep. The name of the island which the government is going to take over is Bitra Island, but at present the government is facing a problem as the families living there are opposing this decision of the government. Lakshadweep’s local Congress MP Muhammad Hamdullah Sayeed has opposed this move saying that the real reason behind this is to displace the local people.
However, the island group’s revenue department has issued a notice regarding the social impact and development of Bitra Island, in that notice it has been said that the objective of this development is to transfer the entire island to defence and political agencies due to its strategic location and national security relevance said that the government has already acquired important land for defence purposes in many islands.
He said that without considering these options and considerations, making the inhabited area a habitat for terrorism is completely unacceptable. He also vehemently criticized the administration for starting such action without any consultation with the local residents, especially at a time when local Panchayat was not functioning in the islands, and said that such one-sided action weakens the democratic system and violates the constitutional rights given to the people.
You must remember that some time back the Indian Government had made some rhetoric to Maldives and now after this decision, this step of the Government is being considered with great importance.
After the change of government in Maldives, the new government there had initially adopted a very aggressive stance against India, in view of this PM Narendra Modi had talked about promoting tourism in Lakshadweep, the Prime Minister had gone there, many pictures were shared from there after which the entire country was filled with anger towards Maldives and a campaign to boycott Maldives was launched in India. After this campaign, the leaders of Maldives made a lot of statements against India, however, after the decline in tourism, Maldives became frightened and the focus from Maldives started on improving relations with India.
The government is now going to control the Bitra Deep and now this is going to be a very big political decision.
