NOT SAFE EVEN AT HOSPITALS – PATNA’S SHOOTING INCIDENT STRIKES FEAR

Chandan Mishra was shot dead by five -armed assailants while he was undergoing treatment at a city hospital in Patna on Thursday morning. There were two eye witnesses who were present in the room when the incident happened. One of the witness is Durgesh Pathak , who is a complainant in the case.

Five men, including Tauseef , the prime suspect have been arrested in connection with the case in Kolkata , where they fled after the incident. The witness , Pathak, said that he , along with Krishna Kant Pandey , were there in the room when Chandan Mishra was undergoing a treatment, that is when five armed assailants barged into the room and mercilessly began firing at Chandan Mishra. Krishna Kant Pandey rant into the bathroom to save his life while Pathak was shot into the right toe and then collapsed on the ground. He raised an alarm bit staff arrived only after 15 minutes.

Father of Chandan Mishra , Sri Kant Mishra , fired another complaint where he accused the hospital staff of being involved in the incident where his son was admitted for a laparoscopic surgery. He said that Chandan , after the surgery , was permitted by surgeon to be discharged the next day i.e 16th of July but the doctor said that he would be discharged on 17th instead.

The complaint adds on that through a video footage of the suspects aired in the news , Tauseef Badshah, Alias Naseem, Balwant Singh and Monu Singh were identified. The ones arrested along with Tauseef is his cousin Nishu Khan and two caretakers Harsh and Bhim . Police claimed that Tauseef and three others weretaken into custody by Kolkata police and STF. They claimed Tauseef and Nishu had previous criminal records.

Police have till claimed that nine people were directly involved while some others helped in providing them with weapons and observation. The hospital’s role is also under suspection as how the accused entered without any checking and obstruction and the manner in which they gained access shows like they have been here before.
