Mardaani 3 Beats Original Film’s Lifetime Box Office in Just 10 Days

Mardaani 3 has done great business at the Indian box office in the second weekend and beaten the lifetime business record of Rani Mukherji’s Mardaani in just 10 days.

Having crossed the Rs 25 crore mark in the first week, Mardaani 3 witnessed nearly a 50 percent drop in its collection, but its business is bigger than the collection of its previous installments. But the movie showed a big jump on Saturday and Sunday.

Mardaani 3 has collected Rs 10.55 crore net at the Indian box office in its second weekend, taking its 10-day total collection to Rs 37.10 crore net in the domestic market. With this, Mardaani 3 has shattered the record of Mardaani, which minted Rs 35.85 crore net in its lifetime. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Mardaani3 trends better than #Mardaani [first part] and #Mardaani2 in Weekend 2, placing it in a comfortable zone. Incidentally, #Mardaani3 has already crossed the *lifetime business* of #Mardaani [first part: ₹ 35.85 cr] in just 10 days.”
