MCD Standing Committee clears revised Budget Estimates for 2025–26

The standing committee of municipal corporation of Delhi on Thursday finalized the revised budget estimates for financial year 2025-26 and budget estimates for 2026-27. Standing Committee chairperson Satya Sharma said the document aims to civic services and quality of life in the capital without imposing any additional tax burden on residents.

The budget will be officially presented by the Standing Committee chairperson in the upcoming House session. Chairing the meeting Sharma said the budget was prepared through an inclusive process. We took suggestions from all councillors standing committee members and ad-hoc committee from the ruling side to the opposition while finalizing the budget she said.
