Noida Schools To Increase Winter Holidays Till 15 Jan

Noida has been viewing the cold wave following the district administrations of Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddh Nagar have extended previous orders related to school operations which was initially in force till Jan 10 is now been extended till Jan 15.

In Ghaziabad the district magistrate has instructed that all private schools affiliated to CBSE, ICSE, UP board and other boards from Nursery to class 12 to operate with revised timings which is 10am to 3pm until further orders. The opinion has been taken because of the extreme freezing conditions in the district.

All principles and headmasters have been instructed to make certain strict compliance with the changed school timings.

In GB Nagar the DM ordered all schools from Nursery to class 8 will remain closed till Jan 15. The winter break has been extended due to dense fog and severe cold which raises safety concerns for young students.
