Sources claim that the 20-year-old actress, who has played Eleven since the show’s debut in 2016, submitted “pages and pages of accusations” against Harbour, who portrays Chief Jim Hopper, her character’s adoptive father
The complaint reportedly prompted an internal investigation that lasted several months, though no allegations of sexual misconduct were made.
An insider told the outlet, “She filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. The investigation went on for months.” The report also notes that Brown had a representative present on set during production to ensure her comfort and safety while filming.

In a 2018 panel appearance, Brown described her connection with Harbour as “like father and daughter,” admitting that their work often led to emotional clashes. Harbour, for his part, has long spoken of his protective instincts toward his younger co-star, once calling her “a special person” he’s watched grow up in the public eye.
The fifth and final season of Stranger Things, created by the Duffer Brothers, is slated to premiere on November 26, marking the conclusion of one of the streamer’s most influential series.
