Shocking News from Sydney Shreyas Iyer Hospitalised After Life-Threatening Injury

A big and heartbreaking news has come for Indian cricket fans. Star batter Shreyas Iyer got badly injured during the third ODI match against Australia in Sydney While taking a brilliant catch to dismiss Alex Carey Iyer fell hard on the ground and held his left side in pain. Soon he was taken off the field and rushed to the hospital.

Later the BCCI confirmed that Shreyas has suffered a spleen injury and some internal bleeding. He was admitted to the ICU for treatment. The news shocked everyone as reports said the injury could have been life threatening if not treated on time Thankfully doctors now say that he is stable and recovering well.

According to reports Shreyas has been moved out of ICU and is under close medical observation in Sydney. His parents are flying to Australia to be with him. The Indian team doctor will stay with him until he recovers fully. A BCCI official said He is stable now, but recovery will take time. We are not rushing him back. This injury is a huge setback for Team India. Shreyas is one of the key players in the middle order and an excellent fielder. He will not play in the upcoming T20 series against Australia and his return date is still unknown
