India Women Won by 88 Runs Against Pakistan Women

At R. Premadasa Stadium Colombo Indian Women registered a strong 88-run victory over Pakistan Women in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. With this victory India continues its 100% head-to-head record against Pakistan in Women’s ODIs now making it 12-0.

Batting first India scored 247 runs in 50 overs. Harleen Deol played a steady knock of 46 runs while Richa Ghosh’s quick 35* in the final overs helped India post a competitive total. For Pakistan Diana Baig was the top bowler taking 4 wickets and troubling Indian batters regularly.

In reply Pakistan Women were bowled out for 159 runs in 43 overs. Sidra Amin fought hard with a brilliant 81 runs but she got no strong support from the other end. India’s Kranti Gaud was the star with the ball taking 3 wickets for just 20 runs while Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana picked two wickets each to seal the win.

Between the match many dramas were created the toss became controversial after confusion over the coin call and the game was stopped for some time due to a bug invasion on the field. Despite all these interruptions Team India showed great control and confidence to dominate the match completely. With this victory India now tops the group table and continues its winning momentum in the World Cup 2025.
