Rajgir International Cricket Stadium Inaugurated in Bihar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did the ceremony of the new Rajgir International Cricket Stadium. This is a very important infrastructure development for Bihar and a milestone in improving sports facilities in the state.
This stadium is located in Nalanda inside the Rajgir Sports Complex. It is built according to international standards and is ready to host international cricket matches. The seating capacity of the stadium is 45,000 making it the largest and most modern cricket stadium in Bihar. It is expected to attract many national and international cricket events in the coming years.
The stadium is designed with state-of-the-art facilities. The main pitch has high-quality red soil from Maharashtra and the auxiliary pitches use black soil from Mokama. It also has advanced drainage systems electronic scoreboards and floodlights to ensure the best playing conditions for players even during night matches. The Rajgir Sports Complex itself has facilities for 28 indoor and outdoor sports a sports research center training academies and a sports library This will help young athletes and students to train professionally and improve Bihar’s representation in national and international sports.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that this stadium will be a symbol of Bihar’s commitment to sports development and will encourage young talent. The inauguration of Rajgir International Cricket Stadium is expected to boost cricket and other sports in Bihar and bring new opportunities for athletes and fans.
