Asia Cup 2025 India reaches Super Four Oman out

In Dubai International Stadium UAE defeated Oman by 42 runs in the Group A clash of Asia Cup 2025. With this result UAE kept their hopes alive but the bigger news came for Team India who officially became the first side to qualify for the Super Four stage. On the other side Oman’s journey ended with two straight defeats.
Batting first UAE put 171 runs on the board. Skipper Muhammad Waseem scored a solid 69 runs off 54 balls while Alishan Sharafu added a quick 51 runs to lift the innings Oman bowlers looked ineffective as UAE built crucial partnerships in the middle overs. Chasing the target Oman never found rhythm. Their batting collapsed against UAE’s attack. Junaid Siddique was the star with the ball taking 4 wickets for 23 runs, while Haider Ali supported with 2 for 22 Oman were bundled out for 130 in 18.4 overs suffering another disappointing loss
India already on 4 points from 2 matches confirmed their place in the Super Four after Oman’s exit Even before playing their last group game India sealed their ticket while Pakistan and UAE now fight for the second spot from Group A. India’s next match against Oman will now be a formality All eyes shift to the crucial Pakistan vs UAE encounter which will decide who joins India in the Super Four.
