By Abhishek Kumar

Pakistan produced a complete performance to crush Oman by 93 runs in their Group A clash of Asia Cup 2025.
Pakistan batted first after winning the toss and posted 160 for 7 in 20 overs. Young opener Mohammad Haris played the key role with a fluent 66 off 43 balls hitting boundaries at regular intervals. Oman bowlers however did well to control the scoring in the middle overs. Aamir Kaleem (3/31) and Shah Faisal (3/34) troubled Pakistan with quick strikes and never allowed them to run away with the game
Chasing 161 Oman completely collapsed against Pakistan’s attack Their batters struggled from the start and kept losing wickets. None of them looked comfortable and the innings ended at 67 all out in 14.5 overs Pakistan bowlers dominated throughout – Faheem Ashraf (2/6) and Sufiyan Muqeem (2/7) were the main wreckers while others kept the pressure intact This result puts Pakistan in a strong position in Group A giving them not only two crucial points but also a massive boost to their net run rate Oman on the other hand will be disappointed as their bowlers had created chances but the batting unit failed to deliver
With this win Pakistan have sent a clear message they are ready to challenge every opponent in this Asia Cup.
