Neeru Bajwa is a renowned Canadian-born Punjabi actress, director, and producer who has become one of the most prominent figures in the Punjabi entertainment industry. Born on August 26, 1980, in Surrey, British Columbia, she initially pursued a career in Bollywood and made her debut in 1998 with Dev Anand’s film Main Solah Baras Ki. However, her true success came in Punjabi cinema, where she rose to fame through her charm, natural performances, and versatile roles.
Her breakthrough came with the 2003 film Asa Nu Maan Watna Da, and she went on to star in some of the biggest hits in Punjabi cinema, including Jatt & Juliet (2012), Jatt & Juliet 2 (2013), Shadaa (2019), and Paani Ch Madhaani (2021). Known as the “Queen of Pollywood,” Neeru has also worked in Indian television and appeared in popular shows like Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi.
Apart from acting, she has ventured into direction with the film Beautiful Billo and established her own production house, Neeru Bajwa Entertainment. With her dedication, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit, Neeru Bajwa continues to inspire aspiring actors and remains one of the most loved and respected icons of Punjabi cinema. From old to young to Gen -Z , she remains to be favourite of every generation.
