Dua Lipa is a British-Albanian singer, songwriter, and model who has become one of the most influential pop stars of her generation. Born on August 22, 1995, in London to Kosovar Albanian parents, she grew up surrounded by music and was inspired by artists like her father, who was also a musician. At just 14, Dua began posting covers on YouTube, showcasing her deep, distinctive voice that would later set her apart in the pop industry.

Her breakthrough came with her self-titled debut album in 2017, which included hits such as Be the One and New Rules. The latter became an anthem of female empowerment, propelling her to global fame. With her second album, Future Nostalgia (2020), Dua cemented her place in music history. The record, praised for its disco-inspired sound and polished production, featured chart-toppers like Don’t Start Now and Levitating, earning her a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album.

Beyond music, Dua is recognized for her bold fashion choices and advocacy for social issues, particularly women’s rights and refugee support. She continues to evolve as an artist, blending modern pop with retro influences while building a legacy as a global icon of confidence and creativity.
