India – Pakistan Match in Asia Cup Create Tension

India – Pakistan match in Asia Cup create tension in country. So many people are saying about this and also showing their anger. Some people are saying “Humare jawaan ghar wapas nahi aate, aur hum cricket khelne chale jatte hai” — meaning in such situations, playing with Pakistan is not right.

That match will be played in UAE on 14 September 2025. This tournament is organised between 9 to 28 September. The recently attack in Pahalgam create tension much more and after that many voices are coming against this match.

Former cricketer and now politician Manoj Tiwary said this match should be cancelled. He said playing against Pakistan after these incidents will send wrong message. On other side, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly said if government gives permission then the match should be played, because India – Pakistan cricket always depends on government approval.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant said until situations become normal, there should be no cricket with Pakistan. TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee also said Pakistan should be dealt only on battlefield, not cricket field.

From organisers side, UAE Cricket Board COO Subhan Ahmed confirmed that the match will happen on scheduled date and all preparations are complete for the tournament. He said their focus is on smooth and safe event.

This situation clearly shows that India – Pakistan match is never just a game. It comes with emotions, politics and security issues. On one side many people and leaders are demanding to stop this match, on the other side organisers and some former players are asking to see it as a sport.
