Women’s Cricket World Cup Held in India

Finally, the wait is over! The Women’s Cricket World Cup is returning to India after 2013. This big event will take place between 30th September and 2nd November 2025. India and Sri Lanka will host the tournament together.

In India, matches will be played in Bengaluru, Guwahati, Indore, and Vishakhapatnam. Some matches will also be held in Sri Lanka, mainly for the Pakistan women’s team since they won’t be coming to India.
The tournament starts on 30th September with the first match in Bengaluru between India and Sri Lanka. This event is very important for women’s cricket in India and worldwide. It will help promote the game and inspire many young girls to take up cricket.
The Indian Cricket Board and ICC are preparing well to make this World Cup a great success. Stadiums are being upgraded and arrangements are being made for players and fans. For example, the Holkar Stadium in Indore has new LED lights to make night matches more exciting.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah called this a “defining moment” for women’s cricket. It shows how much the women’s game has grown and how seriously it is being taken now.
Fans are eagerly waiting for exciting matches, new stars, and thrilling moments in this World Cup. India hosting the event again after more than a decade is a proud moment for the country and women’s cricket.
