Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav Fitness Update Before Asia Cup 2025

Big update coming for Team India fans ahead of Asia Cup 2025.

Hardik Pandya has reached the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for his routine fitness test. This test will be held on 11 and 12 August. The result will decide if Hardik is ready to join the team for the Asia Cup starting from 9 September. Hardik has been carefully managing his workload after recent injury issues.

On the other side, T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is still not fully fit. He had sports hernia surgery in June and is still in recovery. Doctors say he needs at least one more week before he can be cleared for selection. SKY has started batting practice in the nets and even shared a training video, saying he can’t wait to return. But final approval will come only after medical tests.

The Asia Cup is an important tournament for India before the T20 World Cup 2026. Team selection will happen soon, and the fitness of Hardik and Suryakumar will play a big role.

Now all eyes are on NCA reports. If both pass the test, India will have a strong squad for the Asia Cup 2025.
