India vs England 2025: Thrilling Series Ends 2-2 as India Clinch Oval Test by 6 Runs

India vs England the series tied on 2-2.
In the series, both teams won 2 matches, and one match was drawn.
The 5th Test match at The Oval, India won by 6 runs and successfully leveled the series.
Harry Brook is the Player of the Series, and Mohammed Siraj is the Player of the Match.

On the 5th day, England batsmen needed 35 runs to win the match, and India needed 4 wickets for victory.
But England added only 29 runs on the final day and lost 4 wickets. So, India won the thrilling match after full drama and suspense.

In the 5th match:

1st innings: India scored 224 runs, and England scored 247.

England took a 23-run lead.

But in the 2nd innings, India made a comeback with strong batting and scored 396 runs on the board, setting a target of 374 runs.

For India:
Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a century he scored 118 runs.
Akash Deep, Ravindra Jadeja, and Washington Sundar also scored half-centuries and put pressure on the England team.

For England, Joe Root and Harry Brook smashed centuries and made a comeback.
It looked like England would win the match easily.
They both were looking very comfortable in the match.
But after a partnership of 195 runs, India made a comeback again.

Akash Deep took only 1 wicket, but it was an important one Harry Brook’s wicket.
And after the breakthrough, England started to collapse.
England lost their 7 wickets for just 67 runs.

Indian bowlers showed impressive bowling in the final match.

Mohammed Siraj took 5 wickets in the 2nd innings and 4 wickets in the 1st innings — total 9 wickets in the match.

Prasidh Krishna also delivered impressive bowling he took 8 wickets in the match (4 in each innings).

Akash Deep took only 2 wickets in the match (1 in each innings), but both were important breakthroughs at crucial times.

Indian bowlers really impressed in the last match after struggling in the whole series.

The 5-match Test series between India and England finished on 2-2.
Both teams played really well.
Both teams gave their best.
All 5 matches finished on the 5th day this is a very impressive thing in the series.

The series was tied, but cricket won this time.
