DITEC Assam Earns Accolades at AADHAAR Samvaad; Director Ashwani Kumar Honoured with Prestigious Award”

New Delhi, April 8, 2025:
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) successfully organized its National Level Stakeholder Conference – “Aadhaar Samvaad” – on 8th April 2025 at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, New Delhi. The event brought together key stakeholders from across the country to deliberate on Aadhaar’s transformative role and its evolving ecosystem.

A significant highlight of the conference was the presentation of awards recognizing outstanding contributions to the Aadhaar authentication ecosystem. The Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication (DITEC), Government of Assam, was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for its exemplary role in strengthening the Aadhaar Authentication (Auth) ecosystem in the North-East region.

The award was received by Shri Ashwani Kumar, IAS, Director, DITEC, on behalf of the department. The recognition underscores DITEC’s continued commitment to leveraging digital infrastructure to drive inclusive development in Assam and the broader North-East.
