Mysterious lights in the sky created fear in the residents of Punjab, Pathankot. Was that a UFO?

Recently, in Pathankot, some mysterious lights were visible in a fraction of a few minutes. The residents of Pathankot are worried after the pathetic incident. This incident took place around 7 pm and was visible for 5 minutes. The light could be seen blinking in a straight line. This has created a lot of buzz on social media platforms also.

While this is not something that happened for the first time. Many times some mysterious lights are observed in the sky during the night. A few months back the same incident happened in Gujarat’s Junagadh in the month of June this year. At that time, some experts denied that it was a UFO.

 It had triggered speculation of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). Nothing officially has been declared this time also.

In videos and pictures of the phenomenon that surfaced online, about four to seven bright shining lights could be seen gliding in the row in the sky. However, the experts dismissed the reports that it was a UFO.

Narottam Sahoo, Advisor at Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST), had said that the light sighting could be because of some satellite passing through the low earth orbit.

He had added that there are more than 3,000 satellites functional in the lower orbit of the Earth.
