After Irfan Pathan, ‘sanskaari’ trolls target Mithali Raj for her ‘indecent dresseing’

With social networking site Twitter being a common platform, where people often share useless opinions, hate or filth, there are several instances where eminent personalities were subjected to moral policing. Days after cricketer Irfan Pathan got trolled for posting a picture with his wife, now the ‘sanskaari’ Twitter users have targeted the captain of Women’s cricket team, Mithali Raj.

Mithali Raj, on Wednesday, shared an old picture with three of her colleagues, in which the highest run-scorer in women’s ODI cricket history was seen wearing a black spaghetti top. And even as it looked like a normal picture to many, the ‘sanskaari’ trolls took a dig at Raj, stating that her dress code was indecent.

Even earlier, the Indian skipper had been a target of moral policing on Twitter. Weeks back, Mithali Raj posted a picture of her with fellow cricketers Nooshin Al Khadeer, Veda Krishnamurthy, and Mamatha Maben. And out of nowhere, a Twitter user named Ashim Das Choudhury, hit out at Raj, pointing out that her sweaty armpits looked odd.

However, in a befitting reply, Mithali Raj responded, “I m where I m because I sweated it out on d field! I see no reason 2 b ashamed f it, when I’m on d ground inaugerating a cricket academy.”

And with her latest post, wearing a black spaghetti top, here is how ‘sanskaari’ users trolled her:

However, many progressive minds on Twitter came in support of the Indian skipper and lashed out at the trolls:
