Hardik Pandya’s brother Krunal got married to Pankhuri Sharma at a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday.

It seems to be the wedding season for Indian cricketers. In November, it was Indian star pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar who married his fiancee Nupur Nagar at a ceremony in Meerut. In the same week, former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan tied the knot with his fiancee, Sagarika Ghatge of “Chak De” fame, at a court ceremony. Then, came the turn of Indian skipper Virat Kohli who married his long-time girlfriend, Bollywood star Anushka Sharma in Tuscany, Italy. Now it’s Mumbai Indians allrounder Krunal Pandya, brother of Hardik Pandya, who tied the knot with his girlfriend Pankhuri Sharma at a ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The Pandya brothers have been an integral part of Mumbai Indians for the last two seasons. Hardik (24), two years Krunal’s junior, is also India’s first-choice all-rounder across all formats.

In fact, Hardik reached the Indian team hotel late on Wednesday night after his brother’s wedding and the departed for the South Africa tour where India play three Tests, six ODIs and three T20 Internationals.
