No Fear No Favour

How Capetown drought will effect the match.

Capetown is struggling from the worst drought in the recent past. Team India has been asked to bathe no more than 2 mins to save water. As a result the pitch is not getting as much water as the curator would have liked, which means lesser grass. Lesser grass means the pitch would dry soon and it will be relatively slower. If wicket is dry the oozing Proteas pace attack will not get the desired help from the pitch.

Team India should play with two spinner in this game and three pacer and no Hardik Pandya. If the wicket is dry it will present a turning track and playing two spinner can do the trick.

Winning this very game is very important for the team in this long tour to set the tone and create good momentum. Until now, it seems that the condition is favoring team India –

* Pace and bounce will not be as big a threat as it could have been for Indian batsmen.

* Dean Elgar who is the highest run getter for Africa is vulnerable against spin.

* Playing Ashwin and Jadeja will is key for this game. It will also provide flexibility as they both can bat.

Tadaaa! See you when the game starts..
