This veteran demands to remove Ravindra Jadeja from Indian Cricket team, but why?

(From the blog of Ravi Shastri)

Don’t look for faults just for the sake of it. India couldn’t have played eight bowlers; their score was defendable and not all games are won. A sin king Sri Lanka flapped with young exciting talent leading the way and held on to the straw which took them to the shores.

The fact is Lanka needed to go berserk in the chase. Denied of breath, anyone would struggle for life. Lanka, fortunately, broke free of the squeeze which India had applied on their throats. Hopefully, their days of being a punching bag are over. Still, at least one change is due against South Africa -and that’s not Ravindra Jadeja. India needs to bring in Ravi Ashwin. One of the three pace trios would’ve to make way. Or he could play in place of Kedar Jadhav, which means Pandya bats at six.

South Africans are hurting against the spinners and rubbing more salt into their wounds would be par for course.

Let’s hope Virat Kohli wins the toss. Toss could be vital at the Oval where any score is chaseable on weary pitches.More so, since South Africa virtually has no tail.

Also, it’s an English summer where the swing is on a holiday. South Africa has a batting line-up which doesn’t fail twice.AB de Villiers is due for a big one and you can only snigger at the suggestion that he now has cold feet against left arm spinners. The insurance of David Miller in the lower half could also be hugely liberating for the top order.
