Omg! PM Modi inaugurates Purvanchal Expressway; See pics

Purvanchal Express is 30 Km long six lane controlled access expressway that will connect to Lucknow to Ghaziabad to Uttar Pradesh .

PM Modi landed Purvanchal Expressway in an Air Force C130-J Super Hercules Aircraft .The six lane wide expressway is expected to speed up the development of eastern UP ,including Barbanki, Amethi, Ayodhya and Amedkar Nagar.

The Prime Minister addressed the large gatherings in Sultanpur following inauguration .He said Puruvanchal Express “will unite UP” and added that when he launched the foundation stone of the project he didn’t know that one day it would land on it in aircraft. “This highway will benefit poor, middle class farmers and traders.” Said PM Modi.

This foundation of this lroject was laid down in July 2018 and the total cost of the project was Rs 22,500 Crore and it terminates from Chandrasari village from Lucknow district to Haidaria village in Ghaziapur district , near the UP-Bihar border.
