Aam Aadmi Party member Bhagwant Mann live streamed a video on Facebook allegedly showing the details of the security arrangement in the premises of the Parliament, on Thursday, drawing a lot of criticism from other parties. In the video, which went viral, Mann was seen showing entry gate through which MPs enter Parliament House and saying how strong is the security.
However, this move did not end up well for the comedian turned politician as now all other party reunite together and request the Lok Sabha speaker to take strict action against the AAP member. Mallikarjun kharge of Congress said – “This is a serious matter. This is a matter of country’s security. Till now terrorists didn’t know how to infiltrate our system, but this video will invite terrorists to do so. An action should be taken against this”.
Union Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal member Harsimrat Badal said – “The incident must be investigated properly, the intentions behind shooting the video must be known. Who will be responsible if tommorrow that video is used by terrorist organizations for attacks? How can we take this so leniently”?
Commenting on Mann’s act, MA Naqvi said, At time whn terrorists are looking for opportunities to attack ,giving out such sensitive information is disastrous. Dobaara karenge toh jail jayenge, chori aur seena zori nahi chalti. It is against Parliamentary rules and regulations to video graph sensitive areas of the Parliament.
Politian’s flaks for Mann’s Video is well justified , Giving out sensitive information’s like this to public is not at all justified, Our Parliament already got attacked in the past and showing the details of security arrangements for silly facebook live sessions is just downright foolishness.
Succumbing to increasing pressure by opposition parties, Aam Aadmi Party MLA, Bhagwant Mann on Friday said that he will apologise “if the Speaker asks” for streaming a video live on Facebook from inside the parliament, he even adds that he only did it to expose security lapses in the lower house. Now here comes our question- If Bhagwant Mann really wanted to expose the security lapses then he could’ve showed it to the speaker of the house, I mean if he really cares about the security than what better way to do it than expressing about the issue to the Speaker itself. But deep down everyone knows this is just another publicity stunt from AAP Party members, in a video Mr. Mann starts the video by telling his viewers “I’ll today show you something you would not have seen earlier.” This proves it’s just a publicity stunt.
Speaking of Bhagwant Mann, he’s trouble seems to have not ending soon as Sangrur MP is summoned again by Lok Sabha Speaker, for alcohol issues. The news came in light when Fatehgarh Sahib MP Harinder Singh Khalsa has said that Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker Bhagwant Mann comes to Parliament in an inebriated state. Khalsa, who was suspended from the AAP more than a year ago for “anti-party activities”, said he cannot sit next to Mann because the AAP lawmaker smells of alcohol.
