CM Yogi Adityanath has planned something special on Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti

On 24th April 2017, Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath revealed his “Planned Surprised Gift” for Mahatama Gandhi. Yeah, you read that right folks..!

On Panchayati Raj Day, Yogi said that the government will make the state OPEN DEFECATION FREE(ODF) by 2nd October 2018. What can be a better gift to the Father of the Nation than a clean and tidy state.

Ruling the surprise-mania, Yogi also planned a new year gift for 30 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi added that they have set up a target to make 30 districts ODF by the end of the year, and rest, by Gandhiji’s 149th anniversary.

Seems like some got a back-up here…!

Yogi Adityanath further said every Gram Panchayat should be conscious about cleanliness, which each of them should take up as a challenge.

Speaking at the function, the chief minister also informed that he had met Union Minister of Panchayati Raj Narendra Singh Tomar informing him of the problems that the state is currently facing.

He also said that the state government will fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and steps will be taken to reach out to the poorest of the poor. “Land will also be provided to the landless”.

“Efforts will be made to make Uttar Pradesh the most developed state in the country, with help of Gram Panchayats. The government will work in tandem with panchayat representatives”, Yogi Adityanath added.

Stressing that all roads in the state will be repaired by June 15, the chief minister observed that main reason of all kind of disease is a lack of proper cleanliness, awareness of which has to be created among the public.

Jai’s   “VEERU”, supported the cause. Indeed!

This all is a result of our PM’s first General Speech to the nation, where he spoke for proper sanitation in the country, for an hour. He primarily came up with tha cause & now with time, the cause has spread to a huge level.

Last but not the least, it all started with just an idea.
