NLC Satire: Man didn’t talk about Demonetisation and Modi for a day, suspected to be an Alien!
A man was suspected to be alien by his co-workers in a firm, when he didn’t bring the topic of Demonetisation or Modi ji in office conversations and even when co-workers were chilling out at Gupta ji’s pan shop.
NewsleakCentre reporter asked one of his colleagues if the man actually not talked about the demonetisation his colleague said he did mention 500 or 1000 once or twice but it was with reference to the number of bugs in their first software project. We are ready to discuss about the issue but we didn’t know he has no interest in it.
“He has always seemed a little different. Only now, we suspect that perhaps he is from different planet. A few incidents in the past prompted strong hints that we missed totally. During 1 day cricket matches, he don’t talk about scores or even abuse Shikhar Dhawan. When the entire country was humming ‘Kolaveri di!’, he used to sing an incomprehensible song,” told one of their colleagues to NewsLeakCentre.
“I have never seen him spit on the road. He uses tissue while coughing; say ‘excuse me’ whenever someone bumps into him, even though it is not his fault, Not even Bhen****d And he lives in Delhi! ; wait for his turn in any queue and more importantly do not laugh out loud whenever someone cracks a joke on India!,” he listed all the characteristics of an alien behaviour which is not recognized as Indian.
“From the time of televised address on demonetization, the country has talked of little else. He had never talked about it and even when seeing long queues in front of ATMs. When everyone, those who can spell economics and those who can’t, has an opinion on demonetization, he was busy spelling it on a crossword puzzle. Even at that moment, he didn’t discuss the burning topic,” he described the exact conditions which sealed the opinion that he indeed is an alien.
We like to ask about rumour to the man him, our reporter asked him a simple question ‘Do you support demonetization or not?’ He smiled, said he didn’t care and walked off in a direction quite opposite to that of an ATM.
